1. Scope and Application

This Disclaimer governs the website elizabethstief.com (the "Site") and all materials, articles, frameworks, methodology references, and downloadable content published on it. The Site is operated by Elizabeth Stief, sole proprietor (Einzelfirma) registered in the Canton of Zug, Switzerland, operating under the designation Post-Exit Strategist (the "Advisory").

This Disclaimer is read together with the Advisory's Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Imprint. In the event of inconsistency between this Disclaimer and any of the foregoing documents, the document addressing the subject matter with greater specificity prevails. By accessing the Site, the reader accepts the terms set out below.

2. Nature of the Work

The Advisory operates as a strategic methodology firm serving post-exit founders. The work is grounded in the Structural Deprovisioning Model (theoretical engine) and the Self-Legibility construct (formalized functional category). It is executed through Structural Repatriation(TM) (applied methodology) and delivered through Structural Reconnaissance(TM) (the Advisory's service and product).

The Advisory does not constitute, and the reader shall not characterize the work as:

  • a) psychotherapy, psychological treatment, or any form of mental health care regulated under the Swiss Federal Act on the Psychology Professions (PsyG) or cantonal health legislation;
  • b) medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind;
  • c) financial advice, investment advice, wealth management, tax advice, or any service regulated under the Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA) or the Financial Institutions Act (FinIA);
  • d) legal advice or legal representation under the Swiss Lawyers Act (BGFA);
  • e) coaching, life coaching, executive coaching, or any service marketed under those category labels;
  • f) mentoring, advisory board service, or fiduciary advisory of any form.

The methodology is structural. The reader retains full responsibility for all decisions, actions, and outcomes that follow any interaction with the Advisory or the Site.

3. Site Content and General Information

Content on the Site is published for general information and for illustration of methodology architecture. The reader shall not rely on Site content as a substitute for individual assessment by a licensed professional in any regulated discipline (medical, legal, financial, psychological). Where the reader requires regulated professional services, the reader engages a licensed practitioner directly.

The Advisory updates Site content at its discretion and makes no representation that any article, framework, or methodology reference is current at the moment of reading.

4. No Outcome Guarantees

Engagement with the Advisory produces no guaranteed outcome. The Advisory deploys methodology; the founder produces results.

The Advisory makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that:

  • a) a founder will reach any specific personal, professional, or strategic state;
  • b) a founder will resolve any specific situation, dynamic, or arrangement;
  • c) any specific timeframe applies to any outcome the founder pursues;
  • d) results obtained by prior founders predict results for the reader.

Case studies, examples, or references to prior engagements published on the Site illustrate methodology application. They do not constitute outcome promises and they do not constitute predictive evidence for any other engagement.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including written material, frameworks, methodology names, diagnostic instruments, terminology systems, visual identity, and downloadable assets, is the exclusive intellectual property of the Advisory and is protected under the Swiss Federal Act on Copyright and Related Rights (URG) and applicable international treaties.

The Advisory's intellectual property comprises four distinct components plus the brand designation:

  • b) Self-Legibility: the formalized construct and functional category. Protected as an original work of authorship under URG.
  • c) Structural Repatriation(TM): the applied methodology. Asserted as an unregistered trademark of the Advisory in commerce.
  • d) Structural Reconnaissance(TM): the name of the Advisory's service and product offering. Asserted as an unregistered trademark of the Advisory in commerce.
  • e) The Post-Exit Strategist: the public brand designation of the Advisory.

Reference, citation, and academic discussion of the Structural Deprovisioning Model and the Self-Legibility construct is permitted under standard scholarly conventions, with full attribution to Elizabeth Stief. Commercial use, reproduction in training materials, derivative methodology development, or any application that competes with or substitutes for the Advisory's offering requires prior written authorisation.

The reader is granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to view Site content for personal, non-commercial reference. The reader is not granted any right to:

  • a) reproduce, republish, redistribute, or commercialize Site content in any form;
  • b) teach, train, license, or otherwise transmit the methodology or any component of it;
  • c) develop derivative frameworks, instruments, or methodology systems based on Site content;
  • d) use Advisory marks, methodology names, or brand designations in any commercial context;
  • e) feed Site content into machine learning systems for the purpose of training, fine-tuning, or producing derivative works.

Unauthorized use of Advisory intellectual property exposes the user to civil and criminal liability under URG, the Federal Trademark Protection Act (MSchG), and the Federal Act against Unfair Competition (UWG).

6. Visual Content and AI-Generated Imagery

Certain images published on the Site are produced through generative AI systems. These images are illustrative and are not photographs, depictions, or representations of identified persons, events, or objects. AI-generated images may not accurately reflect physical reality. The Advisory publishes them as conceptual illustration only.

Generative AI systems can, on a probabilistic basis, produce output that resembles existing copyright-protected material despite efforts to avoid such resemblance. Any such resemblance is coincidental and unintended. A rights holder who identifies an AI-generated image on the Site that infringes their work notifies the Advisory at the contact details in section 14. The Advisory reviews valid claims and removes or replaces the image in question.

Ownership and licensing of AI-generated assets are governed by the terms of the AI platform used to produce them. The Advisory disclaims liability for inaccuracies, misinterpretations, or unintended implications arising from the use of AI-generated imagery on the Site.

7. Confidentiality and Data Handling

The Advisory processes personal data submitted through the Site (intake forms, contact requests, scheduling tools, email communications) in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Full data handling terms, including legal basis for processing, retention periods, third-party processors, international transfers, and data subject rights, are published in the Advisory's Privacy Policy.

The reader shall not transmit confidential, privileged, financially sensitive, or otherwise restricted information through the Site contact form or general email channels. Confidentiality protections apply to formal engagement and are established by separate written agreement between the founder and the Advisory.

8. External References

The Site may reference external publications, third-party authors, or external websites. The Advisory does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or data practices of external resources. The reader accesses external content at the reader's own discretion.

9. Testimonials and Founder References

Where the Site publishes testimonials or references to founder engagements, these are published with consent and reflect the experience of a specific founder at a specific moment. Such material constitutes individual report only. It does not constitute aggregate outcome data and does not constitute predictive evidence for any other founder's engagement with the Advisory.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Swiss law (Code of Obligations, art. 100 and following), the Advisory's liability arising from or in connection with the reader's use of the Site or the reader's reliance on Site content is limited to direct damages caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

The Advisory excludes liability for:

  • a) indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages of any kind;
  • b) loss of profit, loss of business opportunity, or reputational damage;
  • c) decisions the reader makes based on Site content;
  • d) outcomes the reader does or does not produce following engagement with the Advisory;
  • e) technical interruptions, downtime, data loss, or security incidents affecting the Site, except where caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence of the Advisory.

Mandatory provisions of Swiss law remain unaffected.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Disclaimer is governed by Swiss substantive law, with the exclusion of conflict-of-law rules and of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with the Site, this Disclaimer, or any engagement with the Advisory is Zug, Switzerland. Mandatory Swiss consumer protection forums remain reserved.

12. Severability

If any provision of this Disclaimer is held invalid or unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. The invalid provision is replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original economic and legal intent.

13. Updates

The Advisory updates this Disclaimer at its discretion. The version published on the Site, marked with the date of last update, is the version in force. Continued use of the Site after publication of an updated Disclaimer constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
